Stories and poetry without a license
Heard in Latin and viewed in colors,
Felt in steel and tasted in tears,
You bind the honest and liberate the fraudulent.
Truth of leaders and motive of crowds,
Tool of obedience and weapon of chaos,
You sustain law and encourage its breach.
Delivered by geniuses and consumed by fools,
Planted by strength and cultivated by weakness,
You divide the ones you multiply.
Founded by faith and destroyed by principle,
Embraced by darkness and abandoned by light,
Your face bleak, yet in the mirror you see only hope.
Friend of ignorance and enemy of wisdom,
Brother to hatred and sister to peace,
You are nothing without me, I am everything without you.
Anyone else feel like we're being manipulated by fear? Show of hands?
Anyone?
Thought so. There is a remedy: Fear not.
There was once a guy who said it perfectly. What was his name again? Hmmm....
